Buyer verification

Company & Sourcing Verification

This page exists to answer one question: how can a European or North American buyer verify who Ridingoutdoor is and how the work is actually done? It states our legal identity, states clearly that we are not a factory, and explains how suppliers are selected and how a project is managed from requirement to shipment.

What we are, and what we are not

We are not a factory — and that is a deliberate position

Ridingoutdoor does not own production lines. We are a sourcing and project-execution layer between bicycle brands, importers and distributors on one side, and a network of selected manufacturing partners on the other. We say this plainly because the alternative — claiming to be a manufacturer — is the single most common reason a buyer's first order goes wrong.

For a buyer the practical consequence is simple: you get one accountable counterparty for product selection, specification confirmation, sampling, customisation, quality follow-up and export coordination, instead of managing several factories across several categories yourself. That structure is most useful when your range spans more than one product family — pumps, lights, saddles, mounts and accessories — which no single factory produces well.

How to verify us

Verification steps a buyer can run

Check the legal entity and the domain

Our correspondence comes from the ridingoutdoor.com domain. The contracting entity is Shenzhen Ridingoutdoor Co., Ltd. If you receive a quote that claims to be from us but uses a different domain or entity name, treat it as unverified and check with us directly.

Check the person, not only the company

Commercial contact is Emily Qin, Sales Director. Her name, email and WhatsApp / WeChat number are published here deliberately so you can confirm you are speaking to the same person across channels.

Check the specification discipline

Every product page states what is confirmed and what is not. A supplier that publishes a specification for everything, including things the factory has not confirmed, is a supplier worth questioning. See the Compliance & Documents approach.

Check the documentation route

Ask for documentation against a specific SKU and a specific destination market before a volume order. We will tell you what exists for that model and what still has to be confirmed.

Check with a sample

The most reliable verification is physical. See the Sample Policy for how standard and customised samples are arranged.

Supplier network

How manufacturing partners are selected

Because Ridingoutdoor is not a factory, the quality of the partner network is the core of the service. Partners are selected against the category they actually produce — a pump partner is not asked to make a saddle, and a light partner is not asked to make a mount.

  • Category fit first. A partner is considered for a product family they already produce, not for the lowest headline quote across unrelated families.
  • Specification capability. The partner must be able to confirm written specifications — materials, dimensions, output, battery architecture, valve or thread standards — rather than only supply a photograph.
  • Customisation capability. Where you need logo, colour, packaging or manual customisation, the partner must be able to execute it and produce a sample for approval.
  • Documentation willingness. The partner must be willing to have documentation checked against the specific SKU and destination market.
  • Continuity. Where a programme repeats, continuity of specification and finish matters more than a one-off saving.

We do not publish partner company names, audit reports or factory photographs. Partner identity is shared in a commercial context where it is useful to the programme and where disclosure has been agreed.

FAQ

Verification questions

Are you a manufacturer?

No. Ridingoutdoor is a sourcing, product-selection and OEM / private-label execution partner. Products are made by selected manufacturing partners.

Why should I use a sourcing partner instead of a factory?

If your range spans several product families, no single factory produces all of them well. One accountable counterparty for selection, specification, sampling, customisation, quality follow-up and export usually costs less in management time than several direct factory relationships.

Can you share registration or licence documents?

Registration details, licence information and banking data are not published on this site. They can be shared during a commercial verification step; ask Emily Qin for what you need.

Will you name your factories?

Not publicly. Partner identity is shared where it is useful to the programme and where disclosure has been agreed.

Who is my contact?
